Sustainability
The activities focused on science and sustainability made a strong contribution to the development of students’ life skills, encouraging both responsibility and active involvement in real-world issues. During the research stage on sustainability, students explored environmental topics, which helped them build critical thinking and information analysis skills. They learned to understand the impact of human actions on the environment and the importance of making sustainable choices. The collaborative story and comic strip activities allowed students to express their ideas creatively while working in teams. These tasks strengthened communication, cooperation, and creativity, as students had to share perspectives and build a common product. Brainstorming on the idea of a sustainable school further encouraged participation and innovation, giving students the opportunity to propose solutions and think about how their daily environment could be improved. Creating “Our Dream Sustainable School” helped students apply their knowledge in a practical and imaginative way. They developed planning and problem-solving skills while understanding the value of sustainability in everyday life. The optional planting activity provided a hands-on experience, fostering responsibility, patience, and care for nature. Finally, the sustainability puzzle game reinforced learning in an interactive and engaging way, improving logical thinking and teamwork. Overall, these activities supported the formation of environmentally aware, creative, and responsible individuals, equipped with essential life skills for the future.
