Citizenship
The activities carried out in April played an important role in developing students’ life skills, especially those related to values, citizenship, and social responsibility. The brainstorming session on values encouraged students to reflect on what is important in their lives and in society. This activity helped them build self-awareness, respect for others, and the ability to express their opinions confidently. During the research stage on citizenship, students explored the rights and responsibilities of being active members of a community. This process strengthened their critical thinking and helped them better understand concepts such as fairness, responsibility, and participation. It also encouraged them to become more aware of their role in society. The collaborative activity of creating an imaginary city allowed students to work together, share ideas, and make decisions as a team. They developed creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills while imagining how a well-functioning community should look. Voting for the city name introduced them to democratic principles, teaching them about participation, fairness, and respecting the majority’s choice. Finally, the “True–Wrong Behaviour” game helped students recognize appropriate and inappropriate actions in everyday situations. This activity reinforced moral reasoning and decision-making skills in a fun and engaging way. Overall, these activities contributed to shaping responsible, cooperative, and thoughtful individuals, prepared to actively participate in their communities.
